REVERSE ENGINEERING
Reverse Engineering is a process of converting real world object to virtual world with parametrically accurate 3D CAD models and 2D Drawings by using 3D Metrology grade equipment such as handheld scanner, Scan arms and long Range terrestrial scanners.
Reverse Engineering is the process of digitizing physical assets into precise, parametric 3D CAD models and production-ready 2D technical drawings. Utilizing metrology-grade acquisition hardware, including portable handheld scanners, articulated arms, and long-range terrestrial laser systems, raw surface scan data is captured with high volumetric accuracy to reconstruct complete design intent, feature histories, and engineering documentation.
TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS & STRATEGIC BENEFITS OF REVERSE ENGINEERING:
- Legacy Asset Digitization & Drawing Generation: Reconstructs fully parametric 3D CAD models and GD&T-compliant 2D manufacturing drawings for obsolete, undocumented, or single-source components where original design data is missing.
- High-Fidelity Organic & Physical Asset Capture: Converts complex organic structures and non-standard physical geometries, including both dynamic and static forms, into high-density polygon meshes and NURBS surfaces for digital twin modelling.

- Design Iteration & Product Optimization: Extracts underlying design intent from legacy parts to enable engineering modifications, finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and structural performance upgrades.
- Form-Factor & Ergonomic Enhancement: Optimizes aesthetic contours and aerodynamic or hydrodynamic profiles by adjusting surface boundaries to balance functional performance with visual appeal.
- Rapid Tooling, Jig & Fixture Development: Accelerates tooling development cycles by designing custom fixtures, molds, and holding devices directly around the scanned geometry, drastically reducing lead time and fabrication costs.
